weevil -- (Audionerd alert!) This track begun with a simple sound design idea: Feeding a simple bassdrum/snaredrum beat through a resonator and creating a chord line with it by retriggering and adjusting the resonator on the way. Well obvisously I had to build a track around it, otherwise it would have been kind of boring. The bubbly chords carry the
track forward to a pad progression and a simple melody hook accompanied with a gnarly acid-ish bass line. Slightly excessive DSP mangling at parts but the beats are nicely snappy and crunchy and I personally enjoy some of the wide pads. Yay.
