And The Ghosts Followed - is (a kind of) a second chapter for Jolea's well received 2009 debut album Ghostly Figures which introduced us the beautifully etheral and haunted world of the Audiobaum mastermind herself. The release is divided into two parts: The Remixes - brings you reworked versions of all the tracks of Ghostly Figures by some of Audiobaum's favorite electronic music artist including melodic electronica maestro Bad Loop, tech house bad boy Paul Easy and the fellow Audiobaum partner-in-crime Recue. The second part of the release - The Other Side - comprises of completely new tracks continuing the story left untold in Ghostly Figures. The Other Side will be released later in 2010, but as a promise of things to come, The Remixes includes Joonas Lehtinen's reworked version of a track called Doppelgänger, to be included in The Other Side.
The Remixes - Brings you a dancefloor friendly pallette of tracks ranging from the Hans Zcykkel's club banging take on Tempo17 to Recue's sidechain pumped and dubby Ghostly Figures. Bad Loop brings in his signature eye-closing etheral soundscapes in Blame and DJ RX takes a catchy electro breaks approach on Love Ruins All. The bonus remix Doppelgänger is a brilliant light and crisp shufflestepped IDM tune which leaves you waiting for more.
